As Director of Architecture, Jon oversees project management and coordination for both conventional and federally funded projects with a focus on construction document preparation, code and government regulation review, and implementation of office standards. He has been involved in projects throughout Ohio as well as many neighboring states.

Jon’s contributions to Public Housing truly became manifest during the development of Collingwood Green in Toledo, Ohio. Jon, acting as Project Manager and working alongside George Berardi, designed the Collingwood Green redevelopment for Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority, completing demolition of 400 60-year old multi-family dwelling, paving the way for the reconstruction with 272 dwelling units including 60 elderly units. The overall development effort will create a new and vibrant downtown neighborhood which includes education facilities and retail as part of the planned mixed use. Demolition, abatement, and complete reconstruction of the site and public access roads were coordinated with the City of Toledo.

His experience includes renovation/adaptive re-use, health care facilities, retirement community development, multi-family, elderly and specialized housing and office buildings. In addition to normal management activities Jon has taken a lead as the principal resource for accessibility requirements at Berardi + Partners. Jon is also a valuable resource with his LEED Accreditation, having achieved one of the first LEED Platinum Certifications in the State of Ohio for a Historic Tax Credit project, recently completing The Renaissance Senior Apartments located in Toledo, Ohio.
