Emerald Village was originally conceived by the Catholic Charites Housing Corporation as an elderly residential campus centered on and adjacent to the St. Clarence Catholic Parish in North Olmstead, Ohio. Programming was based upon market demand and allocated 100 independent elderly dwelling units and an adjoining 30 assisted living units. The total project area includes approximately 130,000 gross square feet. The central building area incorporated all supportive services and socialization spaces for the residents. These special spaces and accommodations include central dining supported by a commercial kitchen facility designed to provide three meals per day for each resident. The facility also provides flexible spaces for a library, computer area, fitness, and activity rooms. Our final interior design provides spaces filled with light and soft colors. We are proud that Emerald Village was completely occupied within six months of project commissioning.
