Water’s Edge of Lake Wales

The Water’s Edge of Lake Wells project consisted of three phases: rehabilitation of independent living units, new construction of five duplex villas and rehabilitation of the main common spaces, including the memory care wing. The rehabilitation of the independent living units consisted of providing new luxury finishes for the kitchen and replacing all floor finishes in the dwelling units. The Villas offered another level of senior living, featuring a Mediterranean style with luxury finishes, screened in porches, and two distinct unit plans providing residents with choices for their village-based living. The final phase of the project consisted of the rehabilitation of the common spaces, enhancing the qualities of an already dramatic two story lobby area by providing new contemporary lighting, flooring and wall finishes. The main dining was transformed to provide a dramatic eating experience for the residents and visitors by opening the dining area to the main lobby encouraging the interactions of visitors to engage in the dining pleasures with their family members.
