The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc.LOCATED IN THE CORE
of booming downtown Columbus, 223 Town Street provides 84 new dwelling units over approximately 5,000 square feet of commercial space just east of Columbus Commons, a popular urban park located in the center of the city. Originally occupied by two low-rise office buildings anchored by contemporary condominiums and a hotel, 223 Town Street provides increased density and much needed commercial real estate to the Town Street corridor. The development also features 77 covered parking spaces with access to Fifth Street along the east side of the building.
With the client’s desire for a loft-style building, the primarily brick facades facing Fifth and Town Streets provide a simple and efficient look with minimalistic detailing in order to blend to the adjacent community. Large windows overlooking the urban streetscape provide residents picturesque views of the downtown and economic center of Columbus, Ohio. The units provide a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans ranging from 700 square feet to nearly 1,350 square feet of living space. Majority of units provide a balcony that provides grand views of the downtown skyline and second floor amenity terrace and fitness/lounge building.
