Hawthorn Grove

Located on the eastern side of downtown Columbus in the Discovery District neighborhood, Hawthorn Grove is a 40-unit, three-story apartment building constructed on the former site of a vacant parking lot. The structure’s Italianate architectural features reflect the character of its context in this historic Columbus district. The interior is well appointed with a first floor Community Center, Fitness Room, Classroom and an open TV/Lounge area.

The Supportive Housing Development serves residents seeking to recover from mental illness with tenants holding their own leases and paying rent. The apartments are surrounded by a variety of educational, cultural and social offerings within the city’s Discovery District, allowing the community to play a role in supporting residents’ independence.
