The Nile

The Nile is being fully renovated to become a multi-level restaurant that will feature a landscaped, outdoor dining courtyard in addition to the three levels of interior dining areas. The two buildings that make up this restaurant, connected early in the twentieth century, will undergo substantial structural renovations, and host a new ground level addition that acts as the restaurant’s primary kitchen. The upper level will feature views of Belle Isle

Along with the construction of the new garage and apartment building, the complete renovation of The Nile as a new restaurant experience, the renovation of the Corner Store as a commercial entity at an historically prominent intersection and the historic restoration of the White House next door, the intersection of Van Dyke Street and Jefferson Avenue will definitely be offered a new vitality and provide an exciting new destination in the City of Detroit.
